The Radar Methods and Systems Workshop (RMSW) is a successor of the Microwaves, Radar and Remote Sensing Symposium (MRRS) that was very successful in 2005, 2008 and 2011. The last MRRS (http://ieee.nau.edu.ua/index-22.html) gathered together participants from 22 countries in Kiev in 2011. MRRS is planned to be conducted every third year (next MRRS will be in 2014). In 2010 a smaller but also very interesting and successful event – the first RMSW (http://ieee.nau.edu.ua/index-12.html) started in the framework of the 4th World Congress "Aviation in the 21st Century"(http://congress.nau.edu.ua/). The participants from 10 countries presented their papers and discussed the latest results. The second RMSW-2012 will be held in the framework of the 5th World Congress "Aviation in the 21st Century"(http://congress.nau.edu.ua/) and is planned to be a forum of ideas exchange and results discussion in the field of electromagnetics theory and applications; radar technology and systems; signal processing; remote sensing methods and data processing. Both passive and active methods and systems of all frequency bands are welcome.

We invite all researchers, experts and students who work in our field, waiting for all our traditional participants as well as new colleagues and friends.

We look forward to seeing you in Kiev, Ukraine, September 25-27, 2012!

Felix Yanovsky, RMSW Chairman
